"Magic on Maple Street is a story that reminds us of the spirit of Christmas and the true joy of giving. Three little girls find magic in the stars on Christmas Eve and proceed to make wishes that wondrously come true. Inspiration:
I wanted to write a book that truly reflected what Christmas is all about. Hannah, Frida and Renee Zayouna are the sweet little girls who live next door to me.The doctor in the story is based on the girl's father. It is because of their mom's simple request to write a story about them that 'Magic On Maple Street' exists.
Usually I create the title first when writing stories, but my original idea of 'A Winter's Wish' was already taken. So the title came after the story and I wanted something to connect this book with my last book 'Hope In Springtime,' so I used the same street name.
Hopefully it is a story that touches readers' hearts and reminds them that kindness can really make an impact.
